The designed home
At Savoring Home, we believe that our homes should be a reflection of who we are. A well-designed home can be an extension of ourselves in the way it meets our needs and reveals the beauty of our unique selves. Our philosophy is to approach design from the idea that our home should bring us not only comfort, but also inspiration, and that designed spaces are timeless because of the way it meets our clients' needs.
Let us help you create a space that you'll love to come home to.

Our Design Philosophy
At Savoring Home, we believe that the most meaningful spaces begin with connection. We value the relationship with our clients and how they want their life reflected in their home. Our approach is to create a design that is personalized, evolves gracefully with time, and tells a story through design selection specified for each client.
Relationships and Design
Relationships are an integral part of design, not only in the design process, but also in understanding how the design needs to flex to meet the needs of the client.
Design is collaborative and we welcome clients who want to engage throughout the design process. Projects can take anywhere from a few months to over a year depending on the scale, but no matter the length, you can be assured we value clear communication throughout the creative process.

For the Love of Vintage
Vintage and antiques have a special place in our hearts. We love the patina and stories that these pieces provide and the way they add interest and layering to a space.
In most cases, these pieces will last longer than modern day production items. The materials and build are of higher quality and made for longevity.
Utilizing vintage and antiques in your home will also create a unique aspect to your home that feels collected and intentional.

A Note from Rebekah
Hello there! I'm so glad you found your way over to Savoring Home. Savoring Home is the result of a lifetime of dreaming of, dabbling in, and educating myself about design. I often spent hours as a young girl studying magazines and reinventing spaces from its pages. There was one particular cottage space in Martha Stewart’s LIVING magazine that was full of earthy tones and textures that fascinated me. I spent weeks gathering items to try to replicate it. These early childhood experiences set a solid foundation and love of all things design-related.
In adulthood, I continued to design the spaces of my own home in an effort to understand how design intersects with quality of life and its impact on daily life. Eventually I branched out to helping others with their own homes. These experiences, coupled with a growing business in vintage sourcing opened doors for me to be welcomed further into the design world.

I believe that life is made up of many small moments that flee too quickly. And home is the place where I often find myself trying to slow and cherish the time spent within, whether it's curled up with my kids on the couch, folding the endless piles of laundry, or sitting down to eat as a family. "Savor" is a word that has come repeatedly to mind through the years and I wanted to capture this desire to grab on to those fleeting moments and to sit with them repeatedly as they become a part of who I am. Home is a place where we are our most authentic self, and I hope to nurture this feeling of safety, self-exploration, and memory-building by creating spaces where you can thrive.

It is a privilege to be invited into someone's life and to be asked to help make their home work better for them. I truly love the uniqueness of each project and tailoring it to each client's needs and helping it to feel uniquely theirs. I'm so excited to talk all things design with you!
